7th International Conference on Explosives and Blasting

CALL FOR PAPERS
The International Conference on Explosives and Blasting (ICEB) is the trilateral symposium for scientific and technical update on all aspects of explosives and blasting among China, Japan and Korea. The first conference was held in China in 2006. The ICEBs have been convened annually for six times till 2011, serving the blasting community of the three countries with an excellent combination of scientific advances and practical applications. Since 2011 the ICEB has been held once every two years. The 7th International Conference on Explosives and Blasting will be held in Mid November, 2013 in Zhuhai, China. It will provide a good opportunity for exchanging knowledge, ideas and experiences on explosives and blasting among the participants.
THE CONFERENCE
The conference includes technical sessions, welcome reception, gala dinner and pre- and post-conference tours.
CONFERENCE THEMES
The conference will cover the entire scope of explosives and blasting technologies. The main topics include but not limited to the followings:
1. Rock Mass Characterization and Fragmentation
2. Blast Design and Implementation
3. Demolition Blasting
4. Underwater Blasting
5. Special Blasting
6. Explosive materials
7. Blasting Test & Health, Safety and Environment
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Authors must be prepared to present their papers in person. Each participant including authors is expected to pay the full registration fee. Please note that papers must not be of a commercial or advertising nature.
ABSTRACTS & PAPERS
Abstracts and papers should be written in English. The official language of the conference is English. An abstract should summarize and highlight its paper’s major points into 200 -- 400 words. All papers are to be submitted via email cseb@cseb.org.cn
