This is an invitation letter of ISEM2020 for you.

The International Symposium on Energetic Materials and their Applications (ISEM) is an international symposium on energetic materials that is hosted by the Japan Explosives Society (JES). Since the first ISEM in 2002, it is held every three years in Japan. The previous ISEM2017 was held in Sendai, Miyagi. We welcomed and had a blast with 240 participants from 17 countries around the world.

The next ISEM2020 will be held in Tokyo. Only a few months after the exciting Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, we will gather and have special lectures, presentations and discussions over a wide range of energetic materials including propellants, explosives and pyrotechnics that you wouldn’t want to miss out. The venue Hitotsubashi Hall is located in the middle of Tokyo and it is easily accessible by public transportation. And also, there are lots of historical places around the Hitotsubashi Hall including the Imperial Palace.
